How Is the Price of Paper Corner Boards Calculated?

Paper corner boards are normally quoted per metre. The price is driven by:

• Size — wider and thicker boards cost more.
• Material grade — higher-grade kraft costs more than standard; fully wrapped boards cost more than half-wrapped.
• Quantity — the larger the run, the lower the unit price.
• Special processing — waterproofing, printing and special shapes carry a surcharge.
• Freight — calculated from distance and volume.

• 30 × 3 mm — approx. RMB 0.4–0.5 / m
• 50 × 5 mm — approx. RMB 0.9–1.3 / m
• 80 × 8 mm — approx. RMB 2.5–3.5 / m
